Comparison of Integrated Control Systems
An integrated control is a device that enables a single control interface, such as a switch or joystick, to operate two or more assistive
devices. The following table provides a comparison of the integrated controls for powered mobility that are currently available in Australia.
These integrated controls allow the user to drive a powered chair, operate a speech-generating device, control their environment and in
some cases, control computer mouse movement and powered chair actuators.
